Back in April I photographed a traditional Hindu Indian wedding; a first for me! Sangeeta & Greg had planned a celebration which would last three days. The second day featured a traditional ceremony, held in Crawley Hindu Temple, with lots of family & friends in attendance. It was wonderful to see so many colourful sari's!
The ceremony was followed by a delicious feast which we were very kindly invited to join in with (it was as amazing). The day finished with Bollywood style dancing led by Kalpesh Patel. It's safe to say that many guests were well practiced and the dancing was very impressive!
I simply loved photographing the day, it was such a happy, fun and laid-back celebration.

"Emma was excellent on our special day, we had an Indian wedding and we were not sure what would exactly would happen during the Hindu ceromony and this meant we gave her a very loose brief. Nevertheless Emma was amazing, she captured the moments fantastically and it has been a pleasure looking back at all the pictures. We have been able to relive our day including the special moments our family and friends shared, everyone dancing and enjoying themselves.
Also we don't usually have pictures taken of us generally but Emma made us feel at ease, we now have some natural and happy pictures of us together.
