Some wedding days go exactly as planned—clear blue skies, golden sunsets, and everything in between. Others take a turn, offering up something unexpected. Kylah and Corey’s elopement at Hotel Santa Caterina in Amalfi was one of those days. A rare grey and rainy afternoon in the Amalfi Coast set the scene, but rather than dampen the mood, these two embraced every moment and had a beautiful day proving that a wedding day is never about perfect conditions—it’s about celebrating love, no matter the weather!
Before their wedding day, Kylah and Corey took time to soak in the beauty of the Amalfi Coast with a pre-wedding photoshoot in the sunshine in Positano. The pastel facades, winding streets, and sea views made for the dreamiest backdrop. It was the perfect way to capture their excitement before the big day and gave them time to simply be together, away from any wedding-day nerves. On the morning of the wedding, Kylah and Corey got ready in their hotel in Amalfi town, taking a quiet moment to write their vows. Kylah wore a beautiful Calla Blanca blush tulle dress with bow ties on the shoulder, which was a perfect romantic whimsical dress for an elopement of the Amalfi Coast. She paired the look with blush pink shoes from Badgley Mischka with bows on the heels. We then headed to the venue where they shared an emotional first look.
With their closest family and friends gathered, they exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony on the terrace with the sea and coastline as the backdrop. After the ceremony, we took some time for portraits around the hotel. Kylah and Corey popped champagne, cut their cake, and soaked in the moment together. As the evening set in, they shared their first dance inside the hotel, accompanied by a live pianist. It was one of those moments that felt frozen in time, and completely them. Dinner followed with an elegantly set candlelit table, flowing wine, and heartfelt speeches from their closest people. The table was set up beautifully by La Calla Events and decorated with stunning florals of red and pink roses by Francesco Di Bianco.
